We extended our hands to one another and choose peace over war, education over greed, empathy over fear. In the process of forgiving, we found trust that became civility - civility became humanity. AND it was easy - we spread our wealth and the “bottom line” became insignificant. We gave instead of stole. The realization was, that giving now meant for a greater return. We provided living wages. And for the first time, you saw yourself within that person, someone struggling to survive.
